Developing test plan & content via commercial apps, customized apps, scripting for SOC features to be validated
Enabling, executing, and analyzing test results
Debugging hardware and software to determine the root cause of issues found during platform validation of new silicon, software, and hardware reference design collateral. Possess sound planning and communication skills and excellent problem solving skills to resolve hardware-software interfacing issues
Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science or Masters degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and two to six years of working experience in pre or post silicon validation.
Bachelors degree Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 2-6 years experience with the following:
Solid understanding of modern microprocessors, and computer system architecture
Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Masters degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 2-3 years experience with the following:
Good knowledge of scripting (perl/python) and windows development is a plus
Experience with Logic Analyzers*, Oscilloscopes, In-Circuit Emulators
Experience developing and debugging code in the Linux* and Windows* environment
Familiarity with Microsoft an Linux OS Kernel Architecture and technologies would be an added advantage
Familiar with C language
