PG-PDE group is a department in Penang campus of Intel Malaysia site under Intel Architecture Group. This team consists mainly of the Product Development Engineers (PDE) and/or Test Development Engineers (TDE). PG-PDE lead product development on Server Chipsets, Client Chipsets, Low Cost IA (LCIA) SOCs, Digital Home Product SOCs, mainly designed out from Penang Design Center (PDC) and also from US Design Center from various sites like Folsom, Oregon, Arizona and Austin. PG-PDE job spans from DFT definition, pre-si simulations, test software and hardware development to also support Intel worldwide new product introductions to drive for excellent product health at Product Release Qualification (PRQ) startup.
