In 2001, we sparked a travel revolution in Asia – more...with our no-frills, hassle-free, low-fare offerings and personalised services for our guests. Since then, more than half a billion people have flown with us. We fly to 130 destinations in China, India, Japan, South-East Asia, Australia and the United States. We operate 1,300 flights a day through a fleet of 240 aircraft.
Our operations are lean, simple and efficient without compromising safety. We innovated the use in Asia of a single aircraft type; high aircraft utilisation; no-frills; and a point-to-point network. As a result, we've managed to operate at the lowest cost of any airline in the world.
Innovative use of technology has played a big role in our success. Our digital strategy is to reduce costs further, drive revenue higher and make AirAsia a truly fun place to work. Our vision is of frictionless travel by capitalising on data and technology, our expansive network and, importantly, our people. We call this AirAsia 3.0.
